Photography, part 1

(Photoshopped)

I love taking pictures in Second Life, and I already have a lot of them. One of the reasons I have started this blog is to be able to publish them here and share them with the virtual world and the real world:-)
Normally I just publish them without being touched by photoshop (takes some time), but today I had some spare time so I played around a bit.
Next posts will show you some pictures that have been touched and some pictures not being touched by photoshop.
Enjoy and hope you like them;-)

Photography, part 2 (photoshopped)

Photography, part 3 (not photoshopped)

Atmosphere..

Yesterday we were dancing (yes again), and in Second Life the atmosphere changes just like in real life. It has daytime, sunrise, sunset and night and while we were dancing the atmosphere changed into this... so beautiful:-)

Two little children:-)

Sometimes Second Life is just a very big playground and we just love to act like two little children;-)
We climb in trees and yesterday we found this swinging tire and we just could not resist this;-)

These boots are made for walking in front of you;-)

Oh, it's a fly? It's superman? Heck no it's a plane!!

My husband here is a RL pilot, yeh pfff... he is like a total package.. I know all the girls in sl will be so jealous but hey...he is mine so hands off!!!
Anyway, the other day we were looking for something to fly with, prefably a plane... and we found one, a big one lol.
O o o, .... the plane didn't work with us;-)
I guess we are not the top pilots we wanted to be, but I still love my pilot so very much;-)

Something fishy;-)

Here we go, talking prims (prims is like in RL, you have a house, you stuff it with all nice things you like and suddenly your house is cluttered and you need to get rid of things), well, same in SL, we got our house cluttered so we needed to decide what to get rid of.
Was not so easy but we eventually decided we don't need two ponds lol.
So we got rid of this one but we got a very hardheaded fish here..
So I have a job available for a fisherman, interested? Im me or my husband:-)

Well, this is SL..wooot!! It even rhimes;-)

Oh my, SL can be strange as you will see... we wanted to see Maxx Bob, great live artist at the Titanic but it sunk again, that f***ng ship keeps on sinking and sinking... lol

it get's even better, look at my head... Excorsist part two!

ok now the aliens have landed in SL
shall I tell you now why i get pissed off sometimes??? lol, guess not..

ohh an angry face..

Hmm guess he didn't like the concert so much:-/

I just love furries;-)

A question and maybe an answer..

Just some thoughts I would like to write down. I read blogs as I mentioned before and there is a new blog created by a man. A man who is not afraid to write about feelings on his blog.
He started that blog about a week ago and started with a question: 'What is love and does it hurt?'
Many people reacted on his blog, I guess it's a topic that keeps our human minds very busy:-)
So, does love hurt?
I will answer this from my own experience. I have loved a lot in my life and I still do and it always hurts. There are two kinds of love pains, the love pain you feel when a relationship is almost ending but you still hang on to each other, you still want to save that love you felt in the beginning but you realize it will die soon, that love hurt is the most worse feeling you can ever feel.
But than you have the other love pain, the love you feel for a person so badly you want to be with that person all the time but you just can't because he/she is unreachable.. that hurts too, but that is a good hurt if you know that the other person feels the same way:-)
So the answer to his question 'does love hurt?', well, yes, always..

The answer to his other question 'What is love?', that is I guess for every single person different, but this young girl might just have the answer;-)

Sorry for blabbing but I just felt like it:-)

Slaves

Oliver and I love to role play sometimes, so yesterday we did it again.
We went to a gorean place, most of those are not easy to enter or are not so friendly, but this one was just great. We are new to this so we make mistakes but the people at this place were very nice
And look at these two, as soon as their masters left they crawled to each other and sat there for a while, I guess the slave loves the slave:-). So cute but I will continue to love and serve my Master in every possible way I can;-)

He is alive and kicking:-))

I brought him back to life with a kiss:-))

No ghost, vampire, alien, or creepy thing will keep me away from him:-)

Welcome back honey, I love you!

Horror at 'Fruit Island'..

Hmm, I'm not so sure if this is the right name choice for the place, I mean 'fruit' is healthy, tastes good, looks nice... What we encountered last night was definitely not healthy, it tasted like crap and it all looked morbide....the pictures will show you... and if you are interested to visit this place, just type 'Fruit Island' in search;-)

Arriving at 'Fruit Island' was a ..how to say.. scary experience, this ghost was after Oliver all the time, we ran right, we ran left, we ran forward and back but I tell you... it's a very sticky ghost;-)

Finally we got rid of the ghost and came into the haunted house, well looks kind of innocent to me.. ok a ghost (again) sitting in a chair, a walking broom and a crazy owl asking us stupid questions LOL... so far so good...

Oh, a sceance.. I always wanted to do that, so we sat down, held hands, closed our eyes and waited... but eh nobody appeared to us (is a sceance not something that should bring some passed away loved one back or so?).. well so much for the sceance lol..

Then LOL went away very soon, we entered another room in that house, I was looking at a spider, I turned myself around and OH MY GOD, my husband on the slaughter table.. he was slaughtered before my eyes and I could do nothing, absolutely nothing...

THE END!

Time for romance:-)

After our halloween, haunted house, ferry, apple game adventures he carried me on the Titanic to have a romantic sensual dance before going to bed.... I am the most lucky woman in SL, believe me!
I love you!

It's hard to get a ferry these days...

Okay, 'Wait for the ferry to Erie Isle', we waited, and waited, and waited... than my Oliver was fed up with waiting and he needed to cool down, so he stuck his head in a bucket full of water and apples (can someone remind me how this apple grabbing water game is called)... and he won.... (drums are playing)..... AN APPLE, lol

Speaking of Halloween...

Yesterday we were really in Halloween mood, so we visited a haunted house, it was really awesome and very scary.
My husband was slaughtered, I was preserved and then almost buried, and when we arrived there a ghost took Oliver away from me and... OMG...More pictures will follow, this is just a little preview (the slimy monster made that ship sink, brrrr)

To say it with my man's words: YIKES!!!!!

I have this compulsive addiction... when I log on to SL at our home I usually open the map to see who is around me. Then I start scanning around and... Oh my, this is one of my neighbours, YIKES!!!
Ok, everbody wanders around in SL the way they want but this guy really gave me the creeps.
Then again.. it's almost halloween, maybe that is why he looks like this (I hope so)

More pictures from 'Digit Darkes'

Okay, maybe this is getting boring but I just love the place. Every time we go there we discover something new and it's such a great place to take pictures.
And the most important thing, I don't have to use photoshop (I kind of hate photoshop).

Anyway, I could not really see who's legs those are under the house... guess I will have to back;-)

Monday 19 October 2009

I love you.. I honestly love you..

Peepshow!

Also at 'Digit Darkes' we found this little theatre so I could not resist giving a little show for my sweet man and I can assure you.. he loved my little performance;-)
After that we went home, to bed and...nope, I won't tell...

Digit Darkes.

Yesterday we went exploring and ended up in this place called 'Digit Darkes'. Everything is black and white there and it's really an awesome place to wander in. Also great for taking pictures as you can see and no photoshop needed:-))
We both were so amazed by the place we forgot to look at the shops... we definitely must go back there soon;-)

Sunday 18 October 2009

I can feel you..

Not so much for the song.. more for the clip;-)

It's like a real person walking and running around in a virtual world and in fact we just do;-)
(ok I do like the song too)

Kissing you..

I love you!

Making love to you..

Talking about SL..

As I mentioned earlier, I read a lot of blogs and this is a topic that comes back on blogs once in a while... Why do we spend so much time in SL, I wonder too and I asked my husband. He gave me the answer in one sentence...

"maybe because sl strips out all of the clutter in life --no commute, no dishes to do, no government forms to fill out-- we get to focus on our feelings"

We love kids don't we???

Halloween!!!

I love Halloween and the other day Oliver got this halloween decoration for our house. It looks so nice and I love pumpkins:-)

Bathing..

Do I need to comment on this? Nah... maybe I just say that taking a bath with him is very exciting;-)

Kiss of death, yeh..:-)

He gave me the kiss of death and I really was dead untill he brought me back to the world of the living with his soft, warm, tender kiss of life, I love you honey:-)

Backpack Muca...

I hope I wasn't to heavy honey;-)

He is going to bite me.. he is not going to bite me...

I'm a sucker for vampires especially when they look so sexy as he does.... O and he did bite me;-)

I love tiny things...

Oliver and I were shopping, well not really shopping, more like exploring freebie stores... and while doing that we stumbled into those two little tiny things...
So cute:-)

Rainy day..

Even on a rainy day it's fun to sit in our tree.. and my sweet husband always forgets to put his AO back on but he did think of a couple umbrellas that day:-))

Owls!

Our new tree needed something more and since we both love owls we got ourselves these two cuties, don't they look adorable??:-)

Monday 12 October 2009

Hang on!!!

Oh my God, my husband has some crazy ideas, I know him by now, but his latest is just totally mad, LOL
He got this climbing tree for our garden, you can sit, swing, lean, hang upside down. We played in it for a while and we felt like two ten year olds having the time of their lives, looool...

Wolf

His name is Wolf and he is dutch and I like him, so he is my second friend in SL, and he met Oliver and all was good..
See you soon my Wolf;-)
Howllll

Shy...

I really read a lot of SL blogs, it's just fun to read about other's adventures in SL. And it's also a good way to find out about places in SL. Like this one, I think it was called 'The good life', it's really really nice there, great views, a lot of flowers... and this bench:-)
Don't we look cute together, like teenagers on a first date.. We had a good laugh about that LOL
